Dissolved corporation to convey property to successor.

352.230. Whenever the members of any corporation heretoforeor hereafter incorporated under the laws of this state for anybenevolent purpose, or whenever the persons who were or shall beat the time of the dissolution of any such corporation membersthereof, or in case of the death of any of them, the survivorsshall, themselves, or with other associates, become incorporatedunder the provisions of this chapter for the same benevolentpurpose, under the same or any other corporate name, it shall belawful and it shall be the duty of the person who may be thepresident of such former corporation, or who was or may be itspresident at the time of its dissolution, to execute andacknowledge in the name and on behalf of such formercorporations, a conveyance of all the property, real andpersonal, and assets of every description of the said formercorporation, conveying the same to the new corporation soincorporated; and such conveyance shall have the effect to vestin such new corporation all the right, title and interest in suchproperty, real and personal, and assets of every description,which were at any time possessed by said former corporation.
