Disclosures to subscribers shall not be prohibited or restricted.

354.441. No health maintenance organization plan, medical group/staffmodel, independent practice association or any other entity shall prohibitor restrict any provider from disclosing to any subscriber, enrollee ormember any information that such provider deems appropriate regarding thenature of treatment, risks or alternatives thereto, the availability ofother therapy, consultation or test, the decision of any plan to authorizeor deny services, or the process that the plan or any person contractingwith the plan uses or proposes to use, to authorize or deny health careservices or benefits. Any such prohibition or restriction contained in acontract with a provider entered into after August 28, 1997, shall be voidand unenforceable.
