Health maintenance organization of bordering states may be admitted todo business--procedure.

354.540. A health maintenance organization approved and regulatedunder the laws of another bordering state may be admitted to do business inthis state by satisfying the director that it is fully and legallyorganized under the laws of its state, and that it complies with allrequirements for health maintenance organizations organized withinMissouri. The director may waive or modify the provisions of sections354.400 to 354.636 if he determines that the same are not appropriate ornecessary to a particular health maintenance organization of another state.
