Director may order violators to cease and desist,hearing--noncompliance, director's remedies.

354.703. 1. The director of the department of insurance, financialinstitutions and professional registration may issue an order directing anyperson or entity to cease and desist from engaging in any act or practice inviolation of sections 354.700 to 354.723. Within twenty days after service ofthe order to cease and desist, the respondent may request a hearing on thequestion of whether acts or practices in violation of sections 354.700 to354.723, have occurred. Such hearing shall be conducted, and judicial reviewshall be available, as provided in chapter 536, RSMo.

2. In the case of noncompliance with a cease and desist order issuedpursuant to subsection 1 of this section, the director may institute aproceeding to obtain injunctive or other appropriate relief in the circuitcourt.
