Definitions, chapters 361, 362, and 369.

361.005. As used in chapter 362, RSMo, and chapter 369, RSMo, andthis chapter, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise, the followingterms mean:

(1) "Foreign bank", the meaning set forth in section 1(b) of theInternational Banking Act of 1978, 12 U.S.C. 310(b);

(2) "Home state":

(a) In the case of a national bank, the state in which the mainoffice of the bank is located; and

(b) In the case of a state bank, the state by which the bank ischartered;

(3) "Host state", a state in which a bank establishes a branch otherthan the home state of the bank;

(4) "Out-of-state bank", any bank, including a foreign bank, the homestate of which is a state other than Missouri.
