Penalty for neglect of duty or misfeasance or malfeasance in office.

361.290. Any director, deputy, examiner, employee, clerk orstenographer who shall violate his oath of office or shallneglect or violate any of the duties imposed upon him by thischapter, or shall be guilty of any other misfeasance ormalfeasance in office for which no other or different punishmentis by this chapter provided, shall be deemed guilty of a felony,and upon conviction, shall be punished by imprisonment in thepenitentiary for a term of not less than two years nor exceedingfive years, or by a fine of not less than one hundred dollars normore than one thousand dollars, or by imprisonment in the countyor city jail for not less than one month nor more than twelvemonths, or by both such fine and imprisonment; and uponindictment of any such director, deputy, examiner, clerk orstenographer for any violation of this chapter, such officer oremployee shall be disqualified from further discharging theduties of such office or position until such indictment is fullydisposed of.
