Bank officer making excessive loan--penalty.

362.171. Any officer, director, agent, clerk or employee ofany bank or trust company who willfully and knowingly makes orconcurs in making any loan, either directly or indirectly, to anyindividual, partnership or corporation or by means of letters ofcredit, by acceptance of drafts or by discount or purchase ofnotes, bills of exchange or other obligation of any person,partnership or corporation, in excess of the amounts set out insection 362.170, shall be deemed guilty of a felony and uponconviction shall be punished by imprisonment in the penitentiaryfor not less than two years nor more than ten years or byimprisonment in the county jail for not exceeding one year or bya fine not exceeding five hundred dollars, or by both such fineand imprisonment.
