Severability clause--interpretation of sections 375.950 to 375.990.

375.990. 1. If any provision of sections 375.950 to375.990 or the application thereof to any person or circumstancesis held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect otherprovisions or applications of sections 375.950 to 375.990 whichcan be given effect without the invalid provision or application,and to this end the provisions of sections 375.950 to 375.990 aredeclared to be severable.

2. Sections 375.950 to 375.990 shall be so interpreted andconstrued as to effectuate its general purpose to make uniformthe law of those states that enact it.
