378.634. Every society authorized to do business in thisstate shall be subject to the sections of chapter 375, RSMo,relating to unfair practices and frauds; provided, however, thatnothing therein shall be construed as applying to or affectingthe right of any society to determine its eligibilityrequirements for membership, or be construed as applying to oraffecting the offering of benefits exclusively to members orpersons eligible for membership in the society by a subsidiarycorporation or affiliated organization of the society.
