Deviation, how filed, effective when--open to public inspection.

379.326. 1. Any member or subscriber to a ratingorganization may file with the director a deviation from therates, rating schedules, rating plans, rating systems or rulesrespecting any kind of insurance, division, subdivision,classification, or any part or combination of any of theforegoing. Such a filing shall specify the nature and extent ofthe deviation.

2. Such deviation shall become effective upon the date offiling by delivery or upon date of mailing by registered mail tothe director. It shall be in effect until terminated by thefiler giving notice to the director of the termination of thedeviation. A change in the rates, rating schedules, ratingplans, rating systems or rules to which the deviation appliesshall not terminate the deviation without the consent of theinsurer to which the deviation applies. Any such deviation maybe terminated by the director after notice and hearings asprovided in section 379.323.

3. A deviation filing shall be open to public inspection assoon as stamped "filed" within* a reasonable time after receipt bythe director and copies may be had by any person on request andupon the payment of a reasonable charge therefor.
