Joint underwriting regulated--hearings, discontinuance order, when.

379.331. 1. Every group, association or other organizationof insurers which engages in joint underwriting or jointreinsurance shall be subject to regulation with respect theretoas herein provided, subject, however, with respect to jointunderwriting, to all other provisions of section 379.017 andsections 379.316 to 379.361 and, with respect to jointreinsurance, to section 379.343.

2. If, after a hearing, the director finds that any activityor practice of any such group, association or other organizationis unfair or unreasonable or otherwise inconsistent with theprovisions of section 379.017 and sections 379.316 to 379.361, hemay issue a written order specifying in what respects suchactivity or practice is unfair or unreasonable or otherwiseinconsistent with the provisions of section 379.017 and sections379.316 to 379.361, and requiring the discontinuance of suchactivity or practice.
