386.180. 1. It shall be the duty of the publicationscommission to meet from time to time, as occasion may demand, andselect from the findings, orders and decisions of the publicservice commission the decisions which in the judgment of thepublications commission should, for public information and use,be officially reported and published and when sufficient of suchdecisions have been designated to constitute a volume to causesame to be published in a bound volume numbered serially anddesignated, "Reports of the Public Service Commission of theState of Missouri".
2. The publications commission shall cause to be publishedfrom time to time an advance sheet of the public servicecommission reports containing all decisions of the public servicecommission theretofore selected and designated by thepublications commission for official publication and not beforeofficially published. Such reports shall be competent evidenceof the findings, orders and decisions of the public servicecommission therein contained without any further proof orauthentication thereof.
3. The publications commission shall also supervise andcause to be prepared all syllabi or headnotes prefixed to suchpublished findings, orders and decisions of the public servicecommission and shall cause to be prepared and published as a partof each publication herein provided an adequate index, table ofcases and digest of the cases reported therein.
4. The publications commission shall also from time to timeselect and designate such other works, papers or studies of thepublic service commission relating to the field of publicutilities regulation that may in the judgment of the publicationscommission be of interest to the public and cause same to bepublished in pamphlet or book form. The official reports,advance sheets and other publications published by thepublications commission shall be made available for sale to thepublic at a price to be fixed by the publications commission,which price shall approximate the actual cost of printing.
