Gas in underground storage personal property.

393.500. Whenever gas belonging to any person or corporationis injected into underground storage, it shall, unless and untilit be abandoned by the owner thereof, be and remain personalproperty and the property of the owner thereof, and shall not besubject to production, taking, reduction to possession, waste orinterference by the owner of the surface of the land under whichthe gas storage company has obtained the right to store gas, orby any person whomsoever except the owner thereof and personsacting by his authority; provided nothing herein contained shallapply to a person under whose land gas may be stored without thegas storage company having obtained the right to store gas.
