Remedies to be liberally administered.

400.1-106. (1) The remedies provided by this chapter shallbe liberally administered to the end that the aggrieved party maybe put in as good a position as if the other party had fullyperformed but neither consequential or special nor penal damagesmay be had except as specifically provided in this chapter or byother rule of law.

(2) Any right or obligation declared by this chapter isenforceable by action unless the provision declaring it specifiesa different and limited effect.
