400.7-603. If more than one person claims title orpossession of the goods, the bailee is excused from deliveryuntil he has had a reasonable time to ascertain the validity ofthe adverse claims or to bring an action to compel all claimantsto interplead and may compel such interpleader, either indefending an action for nondelivery of the goods, or by originalaction, whichever is appropriate.
