Attorney general may obtain injunction, when--bond not required.

407.415. In addition to other penalties and remedies provided insections 407.400 to 407.420, whenever it appears that any person is engaged oris about to engage in any act or practice which constitutes a pyramid salesscheme, the attorney general may bring an action in the circuit court havingvenue to enjoin such act or practice, and upon a proper showing, a temporaryrestraining order or a preliminary or permanent injunction shall be grantedwithout bond.

(1980) General intent of the legislature in the enactment of statutes prohibiting pyramid sales schemes is to buttress a strong public policy against pyramid sales schemes involving cover or disguise of some seemingly legitimate commercial transaction.
