Assignment or transfer of motor vehicle, not unlawful subleasing,when.

407.745. 1. The actual or purported transfer orassignment, or the assisting, causing, or arranging of an actualor purported transfer or assignment, of any right or interest ina motor vehicle or under a lease contract, conditional salecontract, or security agreement, by an individual who is a partyto the original lease contract, conditional sale contract, orsecurity agreement is not an act of unlawful subleasing of amotor vehicle and is not subject to prosecution.

2. Sections 407.730 to 407.748 shall not affect theenforceability of any provision of any lease contract,conditional sale contract, security agreement, or direct loanagreement by any party thereto.
