Records--examination without notice--fees.

409.860. 1. The commissioner, without prior notice, mayexamine the records and require copies of the records which alicensed commodity broker-dealer or commodity salesrepresentative is required to make and maintain under section409.858, within or without this state, in a manner which isreasonable under the circumstances. Commodity broker-dealers andcommodity sales representatives shall make their recordsavailable to the commissioner in a readable form.

2. The commissioner may copy records or require a licensedperson to copy records and provide the copies to the commissionerin a manner reasonable under the circumstances.

3. The commissioner may impose reasonable fees forconducting an examination pursuant to this section.
