415.010. All warehouses or storehouses situated in cities ortowns now having or which shall hereafter have over twenty-fivethousand inhabitants, and wherein other property than grain isstored for a compensation or consideration, are declared to bepublic warehouses. For the purposes of sections 415.010 to415.050, the term "public warehouse" shall not includeself-service storage facilities governed by sections 415.400 to415.430.
