Appointment of arbitrators by court.

435.360. If the arbitration agreement provides a method ofappointment of arbitrators, this method shall be followed. Inthe absence thereof, or if the agreed method fails or for anyreason cannot be followed, or when an arbitrator appointed failsor is unable to act and his successor has not been dulyappointed, the court on application of a party shall appoint oneor more arbitrators. An arbitrator so appointed has all thepowers of one specifically named in the agreement.
