If any provision of sections 435.350 to 435.470 orthe application thereof to any person or circumstance is heldinvalid, the invalidity shall not affect other provisions orapplications of sections 435.350 to 435.470 which can be givenwithout the invalid provision or application, and to this end theprovisions of sections 435.350 to 435.470 are severable.
