436.300. Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, all partiesto any contract or agreement for private construction work that is betweenany owner and any contractor, or between any contractor and anysubcontractor, or between any subcontractor and any sub-subcontractor, orany supplier at whatever tier for construction, reconstruction,maintenance, alteration, or repair for a private owner of any building,improvement, structure, private road, appurtenance, or appliance, includingmoving, demolition, or any excavating connected therewith, shall makepayment in accordance with the terms of such contract or agreement,provided such terms are not inconsistent with the provisions of sections436.300 to 436.336.
