443.400. If such property is redeemed by payment to theofficer before the sale, such officer shall make a certificate ofsuch redemption, and acknowledge the same before some officerauthorized to take acknowledgments of deeds for lands; and suchcertificate shall be recorded in the office in which the securityinstrument is recorded, and shall have the same effect as if adeed of release has been filed for record.
