Severability clause--rulemaking authority.

443.747. If any provision of sections 443.701 to 443.893 or theirapplication to any person or circumstance is held invalid, the remainder ofsections 443.701 to 443.893 or the application of the provision to otherpersons or circumstances is not affected. If the United States Departmentof Housing and Urban Development disapproves* in writing to the director ofany provision of sections 443.701 to 443.893 under authority granted to itunder Section 1508 of Public Law 110-289, Title V, the S.A.F.E. Act, thedirector may, in accordance with the director's rulemaking authority undersections 443.701 to 443.893 and chapter 536, RSMo, adopt rules as necessaryto participate or continue participation in the NMLSR.
