Remedies of state or subdivision furnishing support.

454.080. Whenever the state or a political subdivisionthereof furnishes support to an obligee, it has the same right toinvoke the provisions hereof as the obligee to whom the supportwas furnished for the purpose of securing reimbursement ofexpenditures so made and of obtaining continuing support. Thestate also may recover arrearages owed to the obligee under acourt order or judgment and assigned to the state as a conditionof eligibility for benefits under the aid to families withdependent children program.
