Order of foreign courts, notification by division of child supportenforcement, duties of circuit clerk--clerk or family support paymentcenter trustee, duty to keep records.

454.433. 1. When a tribunal of another state as defined in section454.850 has ordered support payments to a person who has made an assignmentof child support rights to the division of family services or who isreceiving child support services pursuant to section 454.425, the divisionof child support enforcement may notify the court of this state in thecounty in which the obligor, obligee or the child resides or works. UntilOctober 1, 1999, upon such notice the circuit clerk shall accept allsupport payments and remit such payments to the person or entity entitledto receive the payments. Effective October 1, 1999, the division shallorder the payment center to accept all support payments and remit suchpayments to the person or entity entitled to receive the payments.

2. Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, thenotification to the court by the division shall authorize the court to makethe clerk trustee. The clerk shall keep an accurate record of suchpayments and shall report all collections to the division in the mannerspecified by the division. Effective October 1, 1999, the duties of theclerk as trustee pursuant to this section shall terminate and all paymentsshall be made to the payment center pursuant to section 454.530.
