Jurisdiction, personal, not obtained for another proceeding, immunityfrom service of process, when.

454.912. (a) Participation by a petitioner in a proceeding before aresponding tribunal, whether in person, by private attorney, or throughservices provided by the support enforcement agency, does not conferpersonal jurisdiction over the petitioner in another proceeding.

(b) A petitioner is not amenable to service of civil process whilephysically present in this state to participate in a proceeding undersections 454.850 to 454.997.

(c) The immunity granted by this section does not extend to civillitigation based on acts unrelated to a proceeding under sections 454.850to 454.997, committed by a party while present in this state to participatein the proceeding.
