Certified copy of a modification filed with issuing tribunal.

454.981. Within thirty days after issuance of a modified childsupport order, the party obtaining the modification shall file a certifiedcopy of the order with the issuing tribunal which had continuing, exclusivejurisdiction over the earlier order, and in each tribunal in which theparty knows that earlier order has been registered. Failure of the partyobtaining the order to file a certified copy as required subjects thatparty to appropriate sanctions by a tribunal in which the issue of failureto file arises, but that failure has no effect on the validity orenforceability of the modified order of the new tribunal of continuing,exclusive jurisdiction.
