Relief may be sought for child abuse or child being stalked--orderof protection effective, where.

455.505. 1. An order of protection for a child who has been subjectto abuse by a present or former adult household member or person stalkingthe child may be sought under sections 455.500 to 455.538 by the filing ofa verified petition alleging such abuse by the respondent.

2. A child's right to relief under sections 455.500 to 455.538 shallnot be affected by his leaving the residence or household to avoid abuse.

3. Any protection order issued pursuant to sections 455.500 to455.538 shall be effective throughout the state in all cities and counties.
