Old official reports, custody, sale, reprinting, disposition.

477.241. All books, both bound and unbound, and matricescovering the reports of the supreme court and the court ofappeals heretofore published and which are in the custody of thesupreme court, shall remain in the custody of the supreme courtfor the purpose of sale or replacement, and the supreme court mayfix the price at which the prior official reports of the supremecourt and the court of appeals are to be sold to the public andmay replace any lost or destroyed books free of cost where suchbooks were originally distributed free of cost. The supremecourt may authorize the reprinting of any prior volumes, thereplacement supply of which has become exhausted or insufficient.The supreme court may also contract for the storage of such booksand to sell, give away, destroy or otherwise dispose of anyexcess books, bound or unbound, which it deems not needed toprovide a reasonable replacement supply.
