Circuit judge in St. Louis City may appoint janitor-messenger.

478.430. Each circuit judge of the circuit court of thecity of St. Louis who is visually impaired or otherwisephysically handicapped is hereby authorized to appoint onejanitor-messenger whose duty it shall be to keep in an orderlyand cleanly manner the chambers and other rooms used by suchjudge and his reporter in the performance of their respectiveduties, and equipment in use therein, and also the halls,stairways, and jury rooms used in connection with the courtroomover which such judge presides, and to perform such other dutiesas said judge shall direct from time to time. And the judgemaking said appointment shall report the same to the circuitcourt in general session for certification, and suchjanitor-messenger shall hold his appointment during the pleasureof the judge making the same.
