Warrants, how issued and executed.

479.100. All warrants issued by a municipal judge, or anassociate circuit judge hearing violations of municipalordinances, shall be directed to the city marshal, chief ofpolice, or any other police officer of the municipality, or tothe sheriff of the county. The warrants shall be executed by themarshal, chief of police, police officer or sheriff at any placewithin the limits of the county, and not elsewhere, unless thewarrants are endorsed in the manner provided for warrants incriminal cases, and, when so endorsed, shall be served in othercounties, as provided for in warrants in criminal cases.
