Municipal ordinances, evidence of, judicial notice of.

479.250. In the trial of municipal ordinance violationcases, a copy of a municipal ordinance which is certified by theclerk of the municipality shall constitute prima facie evidenceof such ordinance. If such certified copy is on file with theclerk serving the judge hearing a case and readily available forinspection by the parties, the judge may take judicial notice ofsuch ordinance without further proof.
