483.537. The clerk of any state court who, by deputy or otherwise,takes or processes applications for passports or their renewal shallaccount for the fees charged for such service and for the expenditure ofsuch fee in an annual report made to the presiding judge and the office ofthe state courts administrator. Such fees shall be used only for themaintenance of the courthouse or to fund operations of the circuit court.
