Witness, when free from arrest.

491.220. Witnesses shall be privileged from arrest in allcases, except treason, felony and breach of the peace, duringtheir attendance on any court, or where their attendance isrequired by subpoena, and in going to and returning thence,allowing one day for every twenty miles from their abode.
