Adverse party may take depositions by giving notice, when.

492.300. When the party causing depositions to be takenunder a notice shall have completed the taking thereof, theadverse party may, before the same or any other officerauthorized to take depositions, and at the same place, proceedimmediately, or on the next day, to take any depositions he maydesire to have read in the cause, and may continue the takingthereof from day to day, at said place, and between the hoursspecified in the notice, until he shall have taken all hedesires; but in order thereto, he shall, before or during thetime of the taking of the depositions on behalf of the otherparty, give such other party, or the attorney representing him,notice of his intention to do so, and of the person before whomhe proposes to take such deposition.
