Official character of officer in the United States, how attested.

492.380. The official character of such officer takingdepositions or examinations within any of the United States, orany of the territories of the United States, or in the Districtof Columbia, authenticated and proved as aforesaid, or by thecertificate and seal of the clerk of any court of record withinany county of the state or territory, or within the districtwhere such officer resides, and certifying, also, that suchofficer was an acting judge or associate circuit judge, and dulycommissioned as such, at the time when the depositions weretaken, shall be a sufficient authentication thereof.
