493.070. In all cities of this state which now have, orshall hereafter have, a population of one hundred thousandinhabitants or more, all public notices and advertisements,directed by any court, or required by law to be published in anewspaper, shall be published in some daily newspaper of suchcity, of general circulation therein, which shall have beenestablished and continuously published as such for a period of atleast three consecutive years next prior to the publication ofany such notice.
