Defendant may elect what property to be first sold.

513.100. The person whose goods, chattels and real estateare taken in execution may elect what part thereof shall be firstsold; and if he shall deliver to the officer having chargethereof a statement, in writing, of such election, three daysbefore the day appointed for the sale, stating specifically whatgoods, chattels and real estate he desires to be first sold, andso on, until the execution be satisfied, the officer shallproceed according to such election, until sufficient money shallbe made to satisfy the amount in the execution specified andcosts.
