Assessment of costs when court not notified in timely manner ofsettlement.

514.112. In addition to all other costs which are assessedin civil actions before the circuit courts of this state,whenever a civil action is settled and the circuit court in whichsuch action was set for trial is not notified of such settlementat least two full business days prior to the trial date, allcosts incurred by the court and the county in preparing for suchtrial which are not otherwise recoverable from the partiesinvolved shall be assessed against one or more of the parties asprovided in the settlement agreement. All moneys received fromcosts assessed pursuant to this section shall be county revenueand shall be deposited in the county treasury.
