Order of sale, to whom delivered, return--disposition of proceeds.

521.280. The order of sale, when made in vacation, shall bedelivered to the clerk of the court and filed in the cause; andthe clerk shall deliver to the officer having charge of theproperty a copy of every order of sale, whether made in term orvacation; and such officer shall make return thereof to thecourt, at such time as shall be expressed in the order, showinghow he has executed the same; and the proceeds of such sale shallbe paid into court or otherwise disposed of as the court or judgemay order.
