522.220. If, in such action, the plaintiff shall obtainjudgment upon motion to dismiss, by confession or default, thecourt shall make an order therein that the truth of the breachassigned be inquired into, and the damages sustained thereby beassessed at the same or the next term, and the court shallproceed therein in the same manner as in other cases of inquiryof damages.
