Parties committed, how discharged.

542.060. Any person committed for not finding surety of thepeace, as above provided, may be discharged by any associatecircuit judge authorized to bind to the peace, within the county,upon giving such security as was originally required of suchperson; provided, that after thirty days' actual imprisonment,the defendant may be released upon his own recognizance, ifunable to find security.
