Proceedings, how governed.

543.220. 1. All proceedings upon the trial of misdemeanorsand infractions before associate circuit judges shall be governedby the practice in criminal cases before circuit judges, so faras the same may be applicable, and in respect to which noprovision is made by statute.

2. All proceedings upon the trial of infractions beforeassociate circuit judges shall be governed by the practice incriminal cases before circuit judges, so far as the same may beapplicable, and in respect to which no provision is made bystatute, except that there shall be no right to a jury trial.
