544.080. The warrant shall issue to the sheriff of thecounty where the indictment or information is filed, unless theprosecuting attorney directs it to be issued to some othercounty; warrants may be issued to different counties at the sametime. The sheriff must execute the warrant and subpoenasimmediately after receiving them.
