Bail, amount of, information which may be considered--denial ofbail--special conditions.

544.457. Notwithstanding the provisions of section 20 ofarticle I of the Missouri Constitution to the contrary, upon ashowing that the defendant poses a danger to a crime victim, thecommunity, or any other person, the court may use suchinformation in determining the appropriate amount of bail, toincrease the amount of bail, to deny bail entirely or impose anyspecial conditions which the defendant and surety shallguarantee.
