Verdict of jury, how rendered.

546.390. When the jury have agreed upon a verdict, they mustbe conducted into court by the officer having them in charge. Ifthey all appear, their verdict must be rendered in open court.If any shall fail to appear, the rest must be discharged withoutgiving a verdict, and the cause must be tried again at the sameor next term, as in the case of a failure of the jury to agreeupon a verdict.
