Presence of prisoner at rendition of judgment.

546.550. For the purpose of judgment, if the conviction befor an offense punishable by imprisonment, or imprisonment beassessed as punishment by the jury, the defendant must bepersonally present; if for a fine only, he must be personallypresent, or some responsible person must undertake for him to paythe judgment and costs; judgment may then be rendered in hisabsence.
