Duty to report, immunity.

565.190. Any person, official or institution complying withthe provisions of section 565.188 in the making of a report, orin cooperating with the department in any of its activitiespursuant to sections 565.186 and 565.188, except any person,official or institution violating section 565.180, 565.182 or565.184, shall be immune from any civil or criminal liability formaking such a report, or in cooperating with the department,unless such person acted negligently, recklessly, in bad faith,or with malicious purpose.
