570.100. 1. A person commits the crime of possession of aforging instrumentality if, with the purpose of committingforgery, he makes, causes to be made or possesses any plate,mold, instrument or device for making or altering any writing oranything other than a writing.
2. Possession of a forging instrumentality is a class Cfelony.
